Beirut (Quds News Network)- Hezbollah’s Secretary-General, Sheikh Naim Qassem, stated on Monday that Israel has breached the Lebanon ceasefire deal more than 3,000 times since November.

Speaking after Israel’s latest attack on Beirut’s southern suburbs, Qassem called the strike a “political assault” with no justification, even imaginary ones. He said the attack was aimed at pressuring Lebanon and changing the rules of engagement, and that it happened with U.S. approval.

Naim Qassem’s comments came as the Israeli military said it carried out more than 50 strikes in Lebanon this month.
