The Hamas Movement welcomed the joint statement issued by the presidency of the International Conference for the Two-State Solution held in New York, which called for turning international positions into concrete actions to compel the Israeli occupation to commit to a permanent ceasefire, a prisoner exchange, the guaranteed delivery of humanitarian aid, a withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, and a halt to settlement expansion, annexation plans, and land confiscation.
