For 22 months of the ongoing aggression, Ammar al-Qayed, in his fifties, together with his wife Umm Muhammad, devoted themselves to rescuing the wounded and retrieving the bodies of martyrs from the neighborhoods of al-Sabra and Tel al-Hawa in southwestern Gaza City.
