The United Nations warned on Thursday that Palestinian children in Gaza are being deprived of education for the third consecutive year due to Israel’s ongoing siege and genocide since October 7, 2023.
UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric told reporters that with the new academic year approaching, “children in Gaza will miss out on education for the third year in a row. Education is a fundamental right, and no child should be denied it.”
