The spokesperson for the Palestinian Civil Defense, Mahmoud Basal, stated on Thursday evening that the aid currently entering the Gaza Strip is completely insufficient.
In a press statement, Basal said: “We need 1,000 trucks per day carrying various forms of aid.”
He pointed out that only about 100 trucks are entering daily, most of which go to commercial traders and do not meet the needs of the market.
