Palestinian prisoner Abbas as-Sayyed, a prominent resistance figure from al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas, was reportedly brutally beaten by Israeli jailers during his recent transfer to solitary confinement in Megiddo prison.
According to human rights sources, prisoner Sayyed are currently facing torture and isolation, and being denied medical care, communication and independent monitoring of his condition.
