In one of the wards at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the central Gaza Strip, Palestinian infant Makkah Salah Al-Gharabli, just one year old, passed away after a silent battle with hunger and malnutrition. Her death adds to the growing list of victims of Israeli-imposed starvation, amid total international failure to compel Israel to allow food in with dignity or to protect UN agencies so they can fulfill their role.
Makkah could not survive, despite desperate rescue efforts….
