Settlers torch swaths of land in W. Bank village

WEST BANK, (PIC)

A horde of extremist Jewish settlers set fire to swaths of agricultural land in Burqa village in the northwest of Nablus on Tuesday evening.

Al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights said that settlers escorted by soldiers came from the illegal settlement of Homesh and set swaths of land aflame near Palestinian homes in Burqa village.

Israeli soldiers reportedly fired tear gas canisters at homes in the village following the arson attack.
