The Trump administration’s war on campus dissent has reached a new, disturbing milestone. On March 8, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers detained Mahmoud Khalil, a recent Columbia University graduate and prominent organiser of the Gaza solidarity encampment on campus.
