The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor has warned that the ongoing Israeli assault, combined with a crippling blockade and a severe shortage of basic supplies, is pushing conditions in the Gaza Strip beyond the threshold of famine.

In a report released Monday, the organization stated that Israel is waging a fierce starvation campaign in Gaza, using hunger as a central weapon in what it described as an ongoing act of genocide since October 2023.
