Aqsa Mosque guards foil attempt by settlers to sacrifice goat

Islamic Awqaf guards frustrated an attempt by extremist Jewish settlers to slaughter a sacrificial goat in the courtyards of the Aqsa Mosque compound on Sunday afternoon.

According to local sources, settlers defiled the Aqsa Mosque through its al-Ghawanmeh Gate while one of them was carrying a baby goat in a shopping bag before guards of the holy site chased them and foiled their attempt to slaughter it.
