Israel blocks entry of int’l medical teams into Gaza

Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) said Thursday that Israeli authorities had denied entry to international medical teams in recent weeks, although some of them have the ability to reach the Gaza Strip.

In a statement on Thursday, MSF said that there are only a few plastic surgeons in Gaza and they cannot handle the large number of wounded people who need reconstructive surgery.
