Ghazi Hamad, a member of Hamas’s Political Bureau, revealed that Israel attempted to assassinate the Hamas delegation in the Qatari capital, Doha, last week while they were reviewing a US proposal with their advisors.
According to Hamad, the attack occurred less than an hour after the meeting began. As the delegation heard the sound of missiles, it became clear they were the target of an assassination attempt, he said in an interview with Al Jazeera.
