The Hamas Movement has reaffirmed its commitment to the mediators’ ceasefire proposal announced earlier and accepted by other Palestinian factions on August 18.
In a statement on Saturday, Hamas affirmed that its openness to any ideas or proposals that would achieve a permanent ceasefire, a complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip, the unconditional entry of humanitarian aid, and a prisoner exchange deal through serious mediated negotiations.
