Yemen’s armed forces said it fired a ballistic missile at Ben Gurion airport in central Israel on Thursday morning.
Military spokesman Yehya Sariee said in a televised statement on Thursday that the missile “hit its target and was not intercepted,” forcing Israelis into shelters and disrupting flights.
Sariee said the strike was in support of the Palestinian people and their resistance and in response to the Israeli crimes of genocide and starvation in Gaza.
