A UN committee announced on Wednesday that at least 21,000 children in Gaza are now living with disabilities as a result of injuries they sustained during Israel’s ongoing war of extermination since October 7, 2023.
The UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities stated that around 40,500 children had suffered “war-related injuries” during the two years since the war began, with more than half of them now living with disabilities.
