Israel’s Ben Gurion airport closed after missile launch from Yemen

The Israeli occupation army said on Wednesday that its air defense system intercepted a missile launched from Yemen that triggered sirens across central Israel, the military said.

Large booms sounded across central Israel following the interception, according to the Hebrew media.

Israel’s Channel 12 reported that the Yemeni missile strike disrupted Israel’s air traffic, leading to the temporary closure of Ben Gurion airport.
