Israel committing genocide in Gaza, scholars’ association declares – Middle East Monitor

The International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS), the world’s leading body of experts on genocide studies, said Monday that Israel’s actions in Gaza meet the legal definition of genocide under the 1948 UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, Anadolu reports.

In a resolution passed by its members, more than 86% of those voting supported the declaration.
