Yemen’s armed forces on Wednesday claimed launching a “hypersonic ballistic missile” counterattack targeting central Israel’s Ben Gurion airport in the morning.
The attack was “successful,” disrupting air traffic and forcing thousands of Israelis into shelters, military spokesman Yehya Sariee said in a statement aired by Yemen’s al-Masirah satellite channel.
