Dr. Mohammad Abu Salmiya, Director of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, warned that 1.3 million people are at risk if Israeli occupation forces launch a ground invasion into Gaza City, adding that the medical system cannot serve them under such conditions.
In a press statement on Thursday, Abu Salmiya said: “We fear for the lives of our medical staff and patients. Hundreds have already been killed inside hospitals.”
