The Palestinian Football Association announced on Wednesday the martyrdom of national team star and veteran goal scorer Suleiman Al-Abed, who was martyred in the ongoing Israeli war of extermination against the Gaza Strip.
Al-Abed, born in 1984, was one of Gaza’s most celebrated footballers. A long-time player for Shati Services Club, he also had a distinguished professional career in the West Bank Professional League, notably with Al-Amari Club.
