Former prisoner Moatasem Raddad dies from illness worsened by Israeli neglect

Former Palestinian prisoner Moatasem Raddad, 42, from the town of Seida north of Tulkarem, passed away on Thursday in an Egyptian hospital due to complications from illnesses that had severely worsened during his detention in Israeli prisons.

Raddad was arrested in 2006 and sentenced to 20 years in prison. Throughout his detention, he suffered from dire health conditions, having sustained shrapnel injuries at the time of his arrest. His health progressively…
