EU Backs Arab Plan for Gaza, Calls for Palestinian Authority Governance

The EU High Representative Kaja Kallas stated, “I discussed with the Prime Minister the Arab plan for Gaza, which is something that the European Union supports as a basis. We will play our part in Gaza’s reconstruction,” stressing that EU firmly believes that the Palestinian Authority should govern Gaza and that it will continue providing support to the Palestinian government as it assumes its responsibilities in the Gaza Strip.
